About this service

Nepal Jyotish is a free astrology website. It is run by an independent team and is not a registered company — there is no corporate entity behind it, and no company registration number or registered office to publish.

The service is paid for by advertising, not by users. You are never charged to use it, and no payment is taken from you for the tools on this site.

Accepting these terms

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Who may use it

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Nepal Jyotish. If you are under 18, please use the site with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian.

What we provide

Nepal Jyotish provides free tools for Panchang, kundali, kundali matching, muhurat, vrat and tithi calendars, and related traditional Nepali Jyotish calculations, together with written reference material and scripture.

You may optionally create a free account, which lets the site save your birth details so you do not have to re-enter them. We may add, change, or remove tools and content at any time.

Astrology is guidance, not professional advice

Everything on this site — every calculation, reading, prediction and generated analysis — is provided for personal, cultural, religious and informational purposes.

Vedic astrology is a traditional system of interpretation, not a verified science. Results depend on the accuracy of the details you enter and on the conventions used, and different traditions and almanacs can legitimately give different results for the same moment.

Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal, financial, tax or investment advice. Do not use it to make decisions about your health, safety, relationships, money or career. Always consult a qualified professional for those matters, and never delay seeking medical attention because of something you read here. You are responsible for the decisions you take.

Your account

• Sign-in is provided through Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure.
• Please use one account per person rather than sharing credentials.
• Do not sign in as, or impersonate, another person.
• We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the site, or that breaks these terms.

Your content and birth details

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter, and for the results that follow from them.

If you save birth details for another person — for a kundali matching, for example — you must have that person’s permission to do so. Please do not submit anyone’s birth details without their agreement.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Scrape, crawl, or make automated bulk requests to the site, or otherwise put an unreasonable load on it.
• Copy or republish our calendars, tables or calculations, or build another product from them.
• Try to bypass advertising, rate limits, or any other technical measure on the site.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the site.
• Use the site for anything unlawful, harmful, or misleading, or to harass anyone.
• Resell access to the site or its results.

Advertising keeps this free

Nepal Jyotish is free to use and is funded by advertising. To keep it that way, pages that depend on advertising revenue are meant to be viewed with ads enabled, and we may ask you to turn off an ad blocker before those pages continue.

We do not choose the individual advertisements shown, and we do not endorse the products or services advertised.

Third-party services and links

Some features, and the advertising, are delivered by third-party services. The site also links to other websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.

Our content

The design and layout of the site, the written content, and the software behind our calendars and calculations belong to Nepal Jyotish. The site is closed source.

You may use the site, and print or share individual results, for your own personal and non-commercial use, with credit to Nepal Jyotish. You may not copy, republish, resell, or redistribute the content or the calculations in bulk, or present them as your own work.

Traditional texts, scripture and mantra remain the heritage of their respective traditions, and are included here for reference and devotional use.

Availability and corrections

We aim to keep the site available and the calendars accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Dates, timings and calculations may be corrected or revised as the underlying data and conventions are reviewed, and we may suspend the site for maintenance.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limit of our responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nepal Jyotish is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from reliance on any calculation, reading or prediction.

Nepal Jyotish is provided free of charge. No payment has been made to us for it, and no money is held by us against which a claim could be set off.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Ending your use

You may stop using the site at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account and the birth profiles saved to it by emailing info [at] nepaljyotish [dot] org.

We may suspend or end your access if these terms are broken, or if the site is being misused.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The dates at the top of the page show when they were published and when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
